As an **OSHA-certified instructor**, Matt brings years of hands-on experience operating and training on a wide range of material-handling equipment. Matt’s career has been shaped by time spent in real-world environments where safety and efficiency are non-negotiable. That background informs the way he teaches today. His approachable, down-to-earth style makes complex OSHA standards easy to understand, while his practical focus ensures operators and managers walk away with skills they can immediately apply on the job. What sets Matt apart is his ability to **connect with people**. He knows effective training isn’t about checking a box—it’s about building confidence, creating safer workplaces, and giving teams the tools to succeed under pressure. Whether working one-on-one with a new operator or leading a group session, Matt emphasizes clarity, hands-on learning, and real-world problem-solving. ## **Beyond the Training Room** Outside of his work as an instructor, Matt has a lifelong passion for cars—especially historic race cars. He appreciates the craftsmanship, history, and precision they represent, values that echo in the way he approaches training. When he’s not immersed in safety programs or exploring the automotive world, Matt enjoys playing guitar and spending quality time with his family. ![DSC07295](https://www.charlestonforklifttraining.com/hs-fs/hubfs/DSC07295.jpg?width=4249&height=2833&name=DSC07295.jpg) ## **Why Choose Charleston Forklift Training?** When you train with CFT, you’re not just meeting OSHA requirements—you’re investing in your team’s safety, confidence, and long-term success.
